Look at Pair, a cool new private social network.

Pair is a cross platform mobile application for couples. Launching with a bang yesterday, the application keeps climbing the iTunes ladder. The Pair team used Scoutzie to find a few designers to work with and we are very impressed with their progress.

What is Pair? If you are or have been in a long-distance relationship, you would know that communicating with your partner might get a little hard. You can exchange emails, call each other on Skype, or maybe share some photos on Facebook, but the information stays disconnected. Pair puts it all in one secure mobile app that you can use exclusively with your partner. That’s right, whenever you want to get in touch with your significant other, just open up Pair and voila!

The team behind Pair has been working together for a long time, but they only set to do this application a few months ago. Oleg, the CEO, reached out to us asking if we knew any designers who could help build this application on a tight deadline. He had a “mood board” and some clear ideas of how the app would work. On our end, we searched around for a few people whose style would’ve fit and pitched them to Pair.

Roman Jusdado ended up being a great guy to make the icon.

Brian Plemons did the majority of the UI.

Cody Moiseve also worked on some parts of the project.

We got to wach a little bit of the design process and it was a pleasure to know Scoutzie-listed designer were very professional and viewed highly by the Pair team.

In our opinion the app looks great and the fact that it keeps climbing the iTunes only reinforces this believe. As of this morning, Pair hit #11 in the social networks category.

All said, we are really happy for the Pair team and for Roman, Brian and Cody who got to participate in the design. From what we could tell, a lot of clients are now searching for people on Scoutzie.
